"How are you going to entertain the kids in a city for a week!?" - I got this a lot when I booked this trip. And when planning our itinery for Paris I realised I could probably have stayed for a month with them and still not run out of things to see and do.
Travelling to Paris with children is an incredible experience that offers a wealth of opportunities for both education and fun. The city of lights is renowned for its fascinating history, stunning architecture, and rich cultural heritage, making it a perfect destination for families seeking to expand their knowledge and understanding of the world. From the iconic Eiffel Tower to the Louvre Museum, there are countless landmarks and attractions that will captivate the imagination of children, inspiring them to learn more about the world and its diverse cultures. Additionally, Paris is home to some of the world's best parks and gardens, including the Jardin du Luxembourg and the Bois de Boulogne, providing plenty of opportunities for kids to run around and play. Whether you're strolling along the Seine River, exploring the charming streets of Montmartre, or enjoying a delicious croissant in a quaint Parisian café, travelling to Paris with children is an unforgettable experience that will create lasting memories for the whole family.

Below is how we spent our 7 days in Paris. I should note that apart from getting to Disney, we walked everywhere - the best way to see this incredible city!
Day 1 | Big Bus Tours
As a happy customer of Big Bus Paris, I highly recommend their day and night tours. The tours are well-organized and offer a great way to see the many sights and landmarks of the city. The tour guides are knowledgeable and provide interesting commentary, which adds to the overall experience. The hop-on, hop-off feature of the day tour allows you to explore the city at your own pace, while the night tour illuminations are simply breathtaking. The buses are comfortable and clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Overall, I had a wonderful time on both tours and would definitely book with Big Bus Paris again. Day 2 | Sacre Coeur & Flower Shaped Ice Creams
Visiting the Sacre Coeur with children and getting an ice cream from Amorino was an absolute delight! The stunning views of Paris from the top of the hill were breathtaking, and the kids were fascinated by the gorgeous white domed basilica. We enjoyed strolling around the quaint streets of Montmartre, and the charming artists' square was a hit with the kids. But the highlight of our visit was definitely the delicious gelato from Amorino. The kids were thrilled with the array of flavors and the beautifully crafted flower-shaped scoops. We savored our ice creams while admiring the stunning views, and it was the perfect end to a wonderful family outing. We highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Paris with kids!
Day 3 | Disneyland Paris
Visiting Disneyland Paris Disneyland Park with children was an unforgettable experience! The magical world of Disney came to life before our very eyes, and the kids were absolutely thrilled. The attention to detail in every aspect of the park was impressive, and we felt transported to a different world. The rides and attractions were perfect for kids of all ages, and we loved seeing the characters come to life in the parades and shows. The kids were also delighted to meet their favorite Disney characters, and the photo opportunities were fantastic. The food options were varied and tasty, and the park was clean and well-maintained. Overall, it was a day filled with wonder and joy, and we highly recommend this experience to anyone with kids. Disneyland Paris Disneyland Park truly is the happiest place on earth!
Day 4 | Cook'n With Class Paris
Attending the Cook'n With Class Paris family cooking classes was an amazing experience. We baked Chocolate Cakes filled with Salted Caramel, French Pear Tarts, Eiffel Tower Cookies and Creme Brulee The chefs were knowledgeable, patient and made learning how to bake these classic French desserts fun and easy. I loved that the class was designed for families, which made it a great bonding experience. Plus, the desserts were absolutely delicious and showcased the beauty of French pastry and baking. Day 5 | Fat Tire Tours Paris
We recently went on a Fat Tire Tours Paris with my children and it was an amazing experience. The tour guides were knowledgeable and made sure that the route was safe and appropriate for children. We got to see many famous landmarks and learn about the history of Paris in a fun and interactive way. The bikes were comfortable and easy to ride, making it a great experience for all ages. Day 6 | Jardin d'Acclimatation
As someone who was recently invited to visit Jardin d'Acclimatation with my children, I must say that it was a wonderful experience for both me and my little ones. This charming amusement park, located in the heart of Paris, offers a range of attractions that cater to children of all ages. My kids loved the incredible rides, and we all enjoyed exploring the beautiful gardens. The park was clean and well-maintained, and had plenty of options for food and drinks. Day 7 | Cat Cafe & The largest open-air toy library in France.
Le Cafe des Chats is a unique cafe located in the heart of Paris that is known for its feline residents. As the name suggests, the cafe is home to a number of cats that roam freely around the space, providing a cozy and relaxing environment for customers. The cafe also offers a menu of food and drinks that are made with high-quality ingredients and presented beautifully. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. Whether you are a cat lover or just looking for a unique and relaxing place to enjoy a coffee, Cafe des Chats is definitely worth a visit.
A short walk from Le Cafe Des Chats is R de Jeux on Place De La Republique which is the largest The largest open-air toy library in France. It was an absolutely delightful experience with our children. The sheer variety of toys available was impressive, ranging from classic board games to more unique and obscure playthings. The open-air setting was particularly enjoyable, as it allowed for a sense of freedom and exploration that wouldn't be possible in an indoor environment. It was also wonderful to see so many children and families enjoying themselves, with plenty of space for everyone to play and interact. The staff were friendly and helpful, and clearly passionate about providing a positive experience for visitors. Overall, I would highly recommend a visit to this toy library to anyone looking for a fun and engaging activity for children.
