1. Italy | Deiva Marina - Cinque Terre | Camping Villaggio Turistico Arenella.
Deiva Marina is a small picturesque town located in the Liguria region of Italy. It is a perfect place for families to unwind, relax, and enjoy the Italian Riviera. We parked our campervan at the Camping Villaggio Turistico Arenella Campsite, which was situated just a few minutes walk from the beach. The campsite was well equipped with all the necessary amenities. The beach was clean, and the water was crystal clear, making it a great spot for some family fun in the sun.
2. Italy | Troghi | Camping Il Poggetto
During our road trip in Italy, we had the pleasure of staying at Camping Village Il Poggetto. Nestled in the heart of Tuscany, this campsite offered stunning views of the rolling hills and vineyards. The facilities were top-notch, including a large swimming pool, a playground, and a restaurant serving delicious Tuscan cuisine. Our pitch was spacious and shaded by trees, providing a comfortable place to relax after a day of exploring the nearby towns of Florence and Siena. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we loved the relaxed atmosphere of the campsite.
3. Italy | Ponsacco
While visiting our friends in Ponsacco, we parked our van at their house. However, there are quite a few places to stay on the Park4Night app. Ponsacco is a small town located in the heart of Tuscany, and it is a great place to experience the authentic Italian way of life. We visited the local markets, tasted some of the best gelato in the area, and explored the beautiful countryside.
4. Italy | Weekend Glamping Resort Lake Garda
We loved our stay at Weekend Glamping Resort by Lake Garda. This luxurious campsite offered a range of glamping accommodations, including safari tents and treehouses, all equipped with modern amenities such as air conditioning and private bathrooms. The resort also featured a beautiful swimming pool, a restaurant serving delicious Italian cuisine, and a variety of activities, including yoga classes and guided bike tours. The highlight for us was the proximity to Lake Garda, which provided plenty of opportunities for swimming, kayaking, and boating.
5. Italy | Lago di Braies in the Italian Dolomites.
During our road trip through Italy, we were always on the lookout to have a wild camping experiences and thankfully we got to park our van near Lago di Braies in the Italian Dolomites. The lake is surrounded by stunning mountain views and provided a peaceful and serene place to park up for the night. We found several options for parking spots in the area using the Park4Night app, which allowed us to find a safe and legal place to spend the night. The app provided useful information about the location, including reviews from other campers, and helped us choose the perfect spot for our wild camping adventure. We highly recommend using the Park4Night app for finding wild camping spots in Italy and other countries.
6. Liechtenstein | Triesenberg
During our road trip in Liechtenstein, we found a free park up spot at the Sportplatzstrasse carpark in Triesenberg, which turned out to be the perfect location for our alpaca trek with Lama- & Alpakahof Triesenberg. The car park was conveniently located near the alpaca farm, and we were able to walk there within a few minutes. The alpaca trek was a highlight of our trip, and we loved learning about these fascinating animals and taking in the beautiful mountain views. The free park up spot was a great find, and we were able to spend a peaceful night there before continuing our journey. We highly recommend this park up spot and the alpaca trek experience to anyone visiting Liechtenstein.
6. Liechtenstein | Gaenglesee Lake in Steg
One of the top park up spots during our 6-week road trip was at Gaenglesee Lake in Steg, Liechtenstein. This stunningly beautiful lake was surrounded by mountains and provided a picturesque location for our wild camping experience. We were able to park our van free of charge and found the spot using the Park4Night app, which provided useful information about the location and helped us find a safe and legal place to spend the night. We were able to enjoy a peaceful evening by the lake, taking in the stunning scenery and enjoying the tranquility of our surroundings.
