Gaia Skincare is a luxurious, cruelty-free, and vegan skincare brand that blends natural ingredients with crystal healing energy, making it a must-try for those seeking high-quality, ethical beauty products.

I had heard of Gaia Skincare before but never actually tried it - until recently, when I had the opportunity to work with Boringdon Hall Spa & Hotel (you can read my full review of Boringdon here). Their hotel and spa featured Gaia products throughout, and I instantly fell in love. I honestly don't think my skin has ever felt as soft as it did after I used their face wash. You just know that anything showcased in a place as special as Boringdon is going to be exceptional. So, when Gaia reached out and sent me some of their gorgeous products to review, you can imagine how thrilled I was.

The name Gaia itself holds deep significance, representing Mother Earth in Greek mythology -interestingly, we even considered it as a potential name for our youngest son if he'd been a girl.

Let's start with the Crystal Purifying Mask. The moment I opened the jar, the scent transported me straight back to the spa - it’s that luxurious. The texture is silky and smooth, gliding onto the skin effortlessly. This mask harnesses the healing energy of rose quartz and is infused with pomegranate and hibiscus, which not only give it its stunning deep pink colour but are also packed with antioxidants. These ingredients help prevent damage and slow collagen breakdown, while pomegranate’s vitamin C content regulates sebum production and promotes cell rejuvenation. After using it, my skin felt instantly refreshed, firmer, and incredibly smooth.

Next up, the Crystal Nourishing Cream. From the moment it touches your skin, you can tell it’s made with high-quality ingredients. It absorbs beautifully without being overly greasy, striking the perfect balance between hydration and a lightweight feel. This jar is packed with nature’s best - blue tansy, known for its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, works wonders to calm and soothe the skin, while rose quartz infuses it with a gentle, nurturing energy. It’s one of those creams that just feels luxurious, like a little self-care ritual every time you apply it.

Now, let’s talk about the Awakening Bath Oil - pure indulgence! Did I want to get out of the bath? Absolutely not. This oil is the epitome of relaxation, with the most divine scent. I’m a huge fan of jojoba oil, and this blend, with organic sunflower oil and vitamin E, delicately moisturises the skin, leaving it soft, nourished, and subtly scented. It’s the kind of bath product that turns an ordinary soak into a spa-like experience, and I could easily see myself using this regularly.

Finally, the Balancing Body Oil - dreamy is the only way to describe it. I love applying this after a hot shower before winding down for the evening, and I can’t even begin to explain how relaxed and pampered it makes me feel. My skin feels so soft, and the scent is beautifully calming. A blend of lemon, ylang-ylang, and palmarosa essential oils, combined with skin-soothing safflower and calendula oils, creates a feeling of harmony and peace. It truly helps you feel grounded and balanced - exactly what I look for in a body oil.
