Discover the ultimate outdoor movie experience in Cardiff’s Bute Park with Adventure Cinema’s Back to the Future screening, featuring a perfect mix of classic films, beautiful scenery, and top-notch amenities.

Last weekend, we had the incredible opportunity to experience our family's favourite movie in an absolutely magical setting, thanks to Adventure Cinema’s screening of Back to the Future in Bute Park, Cardiff.

Located in the sprawling green landscape and dotted with the backdrop of Cardiff Castle and the iconic Principality Stadium. The beauty of the surroundings created the perfect setup for an evening under the stars.

Adventure Cinema really has thought of everything for these events. The park was bustling with various food vendors offering an array of options, ensuring that no one went hungry while enjoying the movie. There was also a bar that catered to both soft and hot drinks, as well as a selection of alcoholic beverages. They accepted both card and cash, which made things super convenient.

If you opted for the premium tickets, you were in for a treat. These tickets came with the bonus of deck chairs, which meant no need to lug your own seating around. It was such a relief to have a comfortable place to sit, especially after a bit of a trek through the city and into the park.

The event was well-organized with clean portable toilets readily available, which always adds to the overall comfort of an outdoor movie night. One thing to keep in mind, though, is that it does get chilly in the evenings, so a blanket or two is definitely a good idea to stay cosy while you watch.

Overall, it was a fantastic experience, blending the charm of our favourite film with the beauty of Cardiff’s natural and architectural landmarks. If you ever get the chance to attend one of these outdoor screenings, I highly recommend it - just don’t forget to bring a blanket! My son said to me when we got home " I wish I could rewind time and do it all again" - That's truly a sign of a successful night!
