Cook'n With Class Paris | Family Patisserie Class - PR Visit & Review
We were recently invited to attend the Cook'n With Class Paris family patisserie class. Read more about our absolutely delightful experience that we will never forget!
One of my favourite days out in Paris .. Ever
From start to finish, the Cook'n With Class Paris class was engaging, informative, and most importantly, delicious.
Cook'n With Class Paris have been offering French cooking classes in Paris since 2007. Chef Eric Fraudeau, creator of Cook’n With Class was the first French chef to offer French cooking classes in English at the time. All classes are taught by professional chefs eager to share their passion with visiting and local food enthusiasts.
The school is among the few which proposes classes to younger cooks and bakers providing 3 family cooking class options: Cuisine en Famille for the 9-15 year-olds and their parents, Macaron en Famille for our 6-12s, and Pâtisserie en Famille for 6-12s as well.
Cook'n With Class Paris is a cooking school based in the heart of Montmartre, a historic neighborhood in the 18th arrondissement of Paris, France. The school is located at 6 Rue Baudelique, Paris, 75018. The location is easily accessible by public transportation, making it a convenient choice for visitors to Paris who are interested in taking cooking classes or exploring the local food culture.
Firstly, our instructor, Chef Christian, was incredibly knowledgeable and skilled, making sure we all understood the techniques and steps involved in creating each of the four desserts we were making: Crème Brûlée, Tarte Fine de Saison, Chocolate Tea Cake, and Eiffel Tower Cookie. He was patient and attentive, answering all of our questions and providing helpful tips along the way.
The atmosphere of the class was warm and welcoming, making it easy to interact with the other participants and share our experiences. It was a true family affair, with children and adults working together to create the most delectable treats.
The Crème Brûlée was a standout for my family, with its creamy texture and caramelized sugar top. The Tarte Fine de Saison was a perfect showcase of seasonal pears, with a buttery crust and a tangy filling that perfectly balanced the sweetness of the fruits. The Chocolate Tea Cake was a decadent treat that satisfied our sweet tooth, and the Eiffel Tower Cookie was a charming and whimsical touch that added to the fun atmosphere of the class.
Cook'n With Class Paris uses high-quality, fresh ingredients in their cooking classes. The school emphasizes the importance of using fresh, local, and seasonal ingredients in their recipes, and they source their ingredients from reputable suppliers and markets in Paris. The school also offers classes that focus on specific ingredients, such as chocolate, cheese, or wine, which highlight the importance of quality ingredients in achieving the best flavors and textures.
Overall, I would highly recommend the Cook'n With Class Paris family patisserie class to anyone looking for a fun and educational activity that results in some seriously delicious desserts. The instructors are top-notch, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the desserts are simply unforgettable. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!
Cook'n With Class Paris offers a range of cooking classes and experiences at different price points to accommodate different budgets. The cost of the classes depends on the type of class, the duration, and the number of participants. Generally, the prices are competitive with other cooking schools in Paris.
